Meetsa este un nume nou în scena drum and bass din România. A început să mixeze în urmă cu doi ani din nevoia de a aduna laolaltă piesele preferate din toate subgenurile pe care le ascultă. După ce a câștigat locul întâi la Mix Heroes Contest a fost invitat ca suport local pentru Technimatic, Culture Shock, Teddy Killerz, Distance, Darkside, Congi, Transparent, Basscatz și cei mai mari artiști români. A avut câteva guest mix-uri la Arena Dnb radio show și Bassport FM, iar acum are propria sa emisiune pe Bassport FM.
Fiind unul din liderii noii generații de dj de drum and bass din România, Meetsa reușește să își țină publicul în priză la fiecare apariție pe scenă.
Meetsa is a significant name to Romanian Drum&Bass scene, through his energy and dedication to the movement wich he brings him to the surface.
He started playing three years ago from the need to express his own ideas from a great area of styles he listens to. An open minded guy who seeks for inspiration in every aspect surrounding him.
He’s into the sound of labels like Shogun Audio, Metalheadz, Hospital Records, V Recordings, Proximity, Critical Music, Dispatch, and artists like dBridge, Ed Rush & Optical, Bad Company, Goldie, Origin Unknown, serve as inspiration and influence to his style.
He won the first place at Mix Heroes Contest, and he played across the country at the biggest drum&bass local promoters and festivals sharing the stage with Foreign Concept, Technimatic, Culture Shock, Teddy Killerz, Distance, Darkside, Congi, Transparent, Basscatz, and with one of the biggest Romanian Drum&Bass dj/producers.
After a few guest mixes on Arena Dnb radio show and Bassport FM, he currently hosts his own show, with special guests on Bassport FM.
Representing the new generations with huge potential of support for the local scene, Meetsa grows into a fine artist with a fresh and playful style, managing to keep the crowd moving. Energetic and versatile, he keeps his mind open and goes by Doc Scott’s constructive words: “forget about genres and tempos, just like what you like”.
